Written agreement
Customers should receive a written agreement defining the approved project scope, price, payment schedule, trial period, hosting terms, support coverage, customization fees, data ownership, backup responsibilities, termination or deactivation procedures, and local-server responsibilities.
Scope and changes
Website descriptions are general. Only a signed quotation or agreement should define guaranteed features and deliverables. Requests outside the approved scope may require a separate quotation.
Acceptable use and limitations
A production agreement should address authorized access, prohibited misuse, customer responsibilities, third-party services, warranties, liability limitations, governing law, and dispute procedures.
